You’re invited to join with Karov to celebrate not only Simchat Torah (concluding the annual Torah reading cycle and starting it again) but also the dedication of our new Torah and ark!

Last year Karov received a donated damaged Torah. Thanks to grant support and a community fundraiser we were able to repair the Torah and create a portable ark. But, we’ve not yet had a chance to celebrate these sacred objects or to thank the donors who made repairing the Torah and building the ark possible.

We hope you will come and celebrate this festive evening with a potluck dinner, dancing with the Torah, reading the very end of the Torah and then starting right back over with the beginning.

5:00PM Doors open, get a name tag, settle in

5:30PM Potluck Dinner begins

6:15PM Havdallah (end of Shabbat ritual) and transition into Simchat Torah celebratory mode!

Please bring a vegetarian dish to share- it doesn’t have to be fancy. What matters is sharing and being together.
