Shabbat Afternoon Service, Potluck Dinner+Havdallah
Did you know that it is customary to read from the Torah on Saturday afternoon?! Even better, the service is much shorter than in the morning. After the Torah reading, Rabbi Amanda will facilitate an interactive Torah project for the kids, while the adults have their own conversation inspired by the Torah portion. We will then have a vegetarian potluck dinner and time to socialize. The venue has a lovely playground, where the kids can play, if the weather is nice. Finally, we will sing out Shabbat and begin the week anew with the beautiful ritual of havdallah.
